How It Works

Dust collection is sized by CFM (cubic feet per minute) at each tool port. A table saw needs 350-400 CFM at a 4" port, a planer needs 400-800 CFM at a 6" port, and a router table needs 150-200 CFM at a 2.5" port. If you only run one tool at a time, size your collector for the largest single port. Use blast gates to direct airflow to the active tool.
